• Tirta Empul Water Palace: Tirta Empul Temple Tampaksiring Bali is a Hindu Bali water temple located in Manukaya Village, Tampaksiring, Gianyar, Bali Indonesia. Founded around 962 A.D. during the Warmadewa dynasty (10-14 centuries). The name of the temple comes from a groundwater source named “Tirta Empul”. To participate in the melukat ceremony, tourists must follow the rules set by the temple. These include the use of kamen cloth tied to the waist. By the Balinese Hindu community, kamen is one of the compulsory facilities when carrying out the prayer ceremony held in the temple.
